About Our Lady of Lourdes

More than one hundred and fifty years ago, on the 11th of February of 1958, the Blessed Virgin appeared in the Grotto of Masabielle, Lourdes, to a young girl by the name of Bernadette. What a beautiful gift given to us from Heaven…, the Immaculate places Her feet on the Grotto which was the waste dump of the village… and from that place of garbage, would come forth a fountain of grace and healing for all of humanity.

Oremus: DEUS, cuius Unigenitus per vitam, mortem et resurrectionem suam nobis salutis aeternae praemia comparavit, concede, quaesumus: ut haec mysteria sacratissimo beatae Mariae Virginis Rosario recolentes, et imitemur quod continent, et quod promittunt assequamur. Per eundem Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.	Let us pray O GOD, Who by the life, death, and resurrection of Thy only-begotten Son, hath purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
